A cast film machine is a specialized piece of equipment used for producing cast film. The process begins with mixing finely ground powder with binders, plasticizers, dispersants, and solvents to form a slurry with a certain viscosity. The slurry flows down from the hopper and is scraped by a doctor blade at a controlled thickness onto a specialized carrier substrate. After drying and solidification, the film is peeled off from the substrate to form a green tape. The green tape is then subjected to processing steps such as punching, cutting, and lamination according to the final product’s dimensional and shape requirements, producing a blank preform ready for sintering.
