Cast Film Production Line:

This unit is adaptable to process the following raw materials: PP, PE, PEVA, EVA.

This unit can be used to produce various types of tablecloths as well as base films for plastic gloves, shower caps, suit covers, and umbrella materials. It can also be used to produce PE sanitary napkin bottom films, non-drying films for diaper and incontinence product applications, perforated bottom films, various packaging films, and deep-embossed films. With the addition of a stretching unit, it can produce breathable waterproof films. The high-speed production line can be equipped with in-line slitting, using high-speed dual-station manual winding, and no adhesive tape is required during high-speed winding. The entire machine is integrated but has a low degree of automation. When the production speed exceeds 130 m/min, this model consumes 25% less power than conventional cast film machines at the same output, effectively saving production costs and labor.

Composition Structure:

Single-layer Cast Film Production Line
This unit is composed of a main extruder, screen changer, die, casting unit, conveying table, puller, winder, etc.
The gearbox housing is made of cast steel, and the gears are made of alloy steel and subjected to gear grinding. All lubrication points inside the gearbox adopt forced lubrication, and the lubricating oil is equipped with a high-efficiency cooling system.
The screw and barrel materials are both made of high-quality 38CrMoALA nitrided steel, subjected to nitriding treatment, and the surface is spray-alloyed.
High-quality 38CrMoALA nitrided steel is adopted, with nitriding treatment and spray-alloyed surface treatment.

Three-layer Cast Film Production Line Unit
Layer configurations: AB, BC, ABC.
This unit is adaptable to process the following raw materials: PP, PE, PEVA, EVA.
The production line is suitable for producing: apparel applications (e.g., EVA, PP, PE raincoats), packaging applications (e.g., packaging films), tableware applications (e.g., tablecloths), and ink simulation applications (e.g., ink prints, artificial flowers, artificial leaves, etc.).

Auxiliary Equipment:

One set of industrial water chiller

One set of water tower

One surface corona treater

One vacuum manual loader

At present, China’s cast film industry has already imported more than 60 sets of cast film production lines, with a total annual production capacity exceeding 200,000 tons. It is expected that in 2005, a strong investment growth trend will continue. As new cast film projects and those under construction in China are put into production one after another, China’s cast film production capacity will inevitably increase significantly from 2005 to 2007. Industry insiders predict that the cast film market in China is very likely to experience the same “overheating-then-cooling” investment phenomenon as the unidirectional stretch film market, which will inevitably trigger a new round of price wars. Major technical challenges have already been overcome. After decades of accumulation, China’s cast film industry has achieved breakthrough development. Compared with developed countries, domestic CPP films have reached internationally advanced levels in both production processes and equipment—especially production equipment, which has made considerable progress, with key technical difficulties already surmounted. The cast film production line has relatively high technical requirements, among which the T-die is one of the critical pieces of equipment.

If the cast film market situation changes, it will inevitably lead to huge investment losses. Therefore, adopting relatively more expensive domestic equipment can also significantly reduce investment risks. Thus, domestic companies should not blindly idolize large foreign equipment; as long as the input-output ratio is appropriate and a good return on investment can be achieved in the short term, that is the most appropriate investment.

The launch of these domestic cast film production lines has greatly accelerated the development pace of China’s cast film industry. To reduce risks, it is even more advisable to use domestic products. Cast film consumption has grown rapidly in China, and because the entry barrier is relatively high, production capacity has expanded very quickly.
